BayWa r.e. will once again have a stand at this year’s Intersolar Europe exhibition in Munich.
From 20-22 June, the company can be found on stand A3.180, where it will be presenting its comprehensive product and services portfolio in the photovoltaic (PV) sector, as well as hosting a diverse lecture programme for interested visitors.
During the Intersolar exhibition, the full-service provider’s stand will be at the heart of a broad series of talks. Interested exhibition visitors can look forward to expert presentations covering a range of topics, including how photovoltaic and battery storage systems are usurping diesel generators, the functions of commercial storage systems and their areas of application, and the protection of wind and solar farms against hacker attacks. The full programme of talks can be found online: www.baywa-re.de/intersolar-2018.
On the topic of operational management, BayWa r.e. will present its IT security system, SystemSafe, which offers secure and stable data transfer for renewable energy plants. With more than 5 GW currently under technical and commercial management, the company is one of the leading international service providers in this sector.
Named the “Top Wholesale PV Supplier” by the market and opinion research institute EuPD Research for the seventh year in a row, BayWa r.e. will once again present its broadly diverse, high-quality portfolio of photovoltaic modules, from its own-brand assembly system novotegra to a selection of home storage systems and charging stations. In addition to learning about products, utility companies and housebuilders can also learn everything they need to know about BayWa r.e. cooperation models.
As part of its project business, BayWa r.e. is developing one of the first subsidy-free large-scale solar projects in Europe: the 170 MWp Don Rodrigo solar park in southern Spain. Further projects in southern Europe are currently being planned. Thanks to the recent acquisition of a 2 GW pipeline in the Netherlands, the company will now also have projects there alongside its photovoltaic trade activities. BayWa r.e. continues to look for project rights in all stages of development.
With its combined photovoltaic plant and battery system in Zambia BayWa r.e. is one of the finalists at the Smarter E Awards in the category Outstanding Projects.
